Making an Entrance – A McNally House of Joinery

The entrance to your home is very important, it’s the first impression. It is how you enter your sanctuary, it is how you welcome your guests and it is how passers by get a glimpse of your character. Make sure your entrance says what you want it to say.

We absolutely love the entrance to this House of Joinery which combines front door, internal doors and staircase by McNally Joinery. It begins with a spectacular panelled front door with arched fanlight, side screens, decorative columns and decorative glazing bars. This piques our curiosity to see what lies behind.

Once behind the front entrance, fabulous double doors and side screen with leaded glass await. These double doors open up into a dramatic mahogany and cream staircase sweeping you up to a balcony area to marvel at. Combining classic features and warm tones in an open space make for a grand and welcoming entrance. The internal doors in the hall feature the same leaded glass design and meet the wall panelling in design and colour.

Consistency in design features, colours, textures and materials are essential to any house  we want to come home to, any space we call our sactuary, the place we want to invite our friends and loved ones to. It all begins with an entrance and one joinery, McNally Joinery.
