Journey with us

Transforming your home is a personal journey. Renovating an existing space, adding to it or reshaping rooms, modernizing with personal style, design and colour while keeping true to your home’s unique character. Replacing what no longer works and creating warmer, more energy efficient and sustainable homes. Home renovations are one of the biggest projects we undertake in life, and one of the most fulfilling at that.

For years we collect ideas, take note of the things that inspire us, furniture and designs we love, colours we never tire off. We love that day dream. And then a plan is made, the journey begins.

At McNally Joinery we work with some fantastic builders and architects who excel in renovations and creating new meaningful spaces. For this project we worked with S O’Sullivan Design and Cascade Construction.

The journey begins at the front of the house with a large sliding sheeted gate and matching side gate. Once through the front door, a crittall style sliding pocket door gives way to a newly constructed space. The extension is framed by McNally Joinery; a large picture window, a 5 leaf bi-fold door, two sets of double doors, a door and screen and a side entrance door. There is no better way to capture the light.

The customer selected a velvet grey (F&B 31 Railings) and stainless steel ironmongery throughout, complimenting warm wooden floors and furniture perfectly. Despite the rainy day for our photography, the light pouring through the glass doors was warm and homely, a true invitation for a cuppa in comfort. On a sunny day, the bi-folds open and extend your home into the garden. And a sunny day is always around the corner.

If you have that dream of your perfect home, journey with us. Come visit us at our showroom at Walshestown, Lusk, Co. Dublin to discuss your renovation.
