In 1978, two trail blazers Joe and Breda set up McNally Joinery in an old hay barn. Joe’s early focus on high quality timber products, coupled with Breda’s natural business acumen set the company on its path.
Their perseverance through multiple recessions was a testament to their dedication to bring high quality joinery to the Irish market and create employment in the locality. Over the years, they expanded the workshop and grew the product portfolio to include more and more challenging pieces, constantly pushing the boundaries to allow builders, architects and homeowners to use their imagination and create the home of their dreams.
Although Joe is no longer with us, we remember him every day and his dedication to the business, his love of the product, people and life in general, lives on today in our workshop in Lusk, Co. Dublin. We like to think he would be proud that the company is continuing to ignore the modern day trend for imported, mass produced products and maintaining his original commitment to Irish made, high quality, bespoke joinery.
